It only says
what your documents say.

Upload the pricing sheet, point it at your help docs, write the battle cards. Every suggestion is retrieved from that material and cites where it came from. The web, only when you ask.

Why grounding

A confident wrong answer is worse than silence. Generic assistants will happily invent a rate limit or a compliance claim. On a sales call that is not a hallucination, it is a promise your company now has to keep.

Suggestions are closed-book by design. Everything SalesGhost volunteers is retrieved from what you gave it, with the source on every card. If your knowledge base does not have the answer, it says less rather than making it up, which is exactly what you want a colleague whispering in your ear to do. The web is there only when you type a question and ask for it, and it is labelled as such.

Grounded answers

Answers reps can actually use.

On our internal retrieval benchmark, SalesGhost surfaces a usable, correctly sourced answer for 91% of live-call questions.

What ships

Five kinds of knowledge, one answer.

All of it lives in Settings, on macOS and Windows.

Upload the documents that are not public

PDF, DOCX, TXT and Markdown, up to 10 MB each. Pricing sheets, security overviews, internal FAQs, competitor one-pagers. Processed into searchable knowledge within minutes.

Point it at your website

Give SalesGhost a root URL and it reads your marketing site, help center or changelog page by page. Re-run the scrape after a big release and the answers move with it.

Battle cards for predictable moments

Knowledge answers questions. Battle cards handle situations: a competitor named, a pricing pushback. Write the agreed response once and it fires on the call.

Company context shapes the voice

A free-text description of who you sell to and how you position, read on every call. Five minutes writing it well pays off on every call after.

Personal or organization scope

Keep your territory notes to yourself and share the canonical pricing sheet with the team. One maintained org knowledge base beats ten diverging personal ones.

Access decided at retrieval time

Who can read what is checked when the answer is built, not cached on a device. Remove a teammate and their next call no longer sees the team's material.

Questions

What knowledge sources can I connect to SalesGhost?

Uploaded files (PDF, DOCX, DOCM, TXT and Markdown), documentation and marketing sites scraped from a root URL, battle cards, a free-text company context, and CRM context from HubSpot, Salesforce or Attio.

Does SalesGhost answer from the internet?

Not unless you ask it to. Automatic suggestions are retrieved only from the knowledge base you build, which is why every card can cite the document it came from and why a wrong public page cannot put a wrong number in a rep's mouth. When you type a question into the notch, SalesGhost searches your knowledge first and can look something up on the web on request; those answers are labelled as web results and kept apart from your verified sources.

How does SalesGhost keep answers grounded?

Each suggestion is built from retrieved passages and carries its sources. On our internal benchmark of 200 live-call questions against a 1,000-document knowledge base, 91% produced a usable, correctly sourced answer before the rep had to respond.

Can I share knowledge with my team?

Yes, on the Teams plan. Every source has a scope: personal, for your own calls only, or organization, shared with everyone in your workspace. Admins can keep the canonical material in one place.

What happens when a document goes out of date?

Remove it from Settings and its content stops being used immediately. Two sources that disagree make answers hedge, so replacing the old pricing sheet is better than adding the new one beside it.
