Real-time sales coaching software for live sales calls
SalesGhost is real-time sales coaching software for B2B discovery calls and product demos. It listens to the live call, answers product questions from your documents with the source shown, and suggests how to handle an objection, respond to a competitor mention or which question to ask next, from your battle cards and playbooks or the conversation itself.
Free plan, no card. macOS and Windows.

- Coaching at the moment, not only in the review
- Coaching and factual answers, separately switchable
- Document-backed answers show their source
How SalesGhost provides real-time sales guidance
Answers from your documents during live calls
SalesGhost hears the call through your computer audio and recognises when a buyer asks a question: a price, a security control, an integration, a limit. If your documents hold the answer, a card shows it with the file it came from. When they do not, it is instructed to stay quiet or acknowledge the missing information rather than guess.
- Upload PDF, DOCX, TXT and Markdown, or scrape your website and help docs; product answers come from these documents, and automatic cards never use the web
- Document-backed answers show the document they came from; coaching drawn from the conversation is shown without a source, so the rep can tell the two apart
- Type a question into the notch or pill and your knowledge is searched first; public facts are looked up only when it cannot answer, and count as unverified
“We need to think about it and come back to you.”
Sarah · VP SalesReal-time objection handling and competitive battle cards
Battle cards are where prepared objection handling lives. Each card pairs an objection or competitor with the response you want: two or three counterpoints, a proof point and a question that redirects. When a buyer pushes on price, names a rival or stalls, SalesGhost can draw on your prepared battle cards to suggest a response in line with what you wrote.
- Cards are created in Settings and, at organization scope, reach every seat on the team
- A suggestion informed by a card is context for the rep, who says it in their own words
- Turn an answer that landed on a real call into a battle card afterwards, so the response exists next time
Live coaching prompts and suggested next questions
Coaching covers the moments no card anticipates. When the buyer mentions a new constraint, an objection is left unresolved or a discovery call stops uncovering anything, SalesGhost suggests a next move or a question to ask, drawn from the conversation itself. Coaching is shown without a source so the rep can tell it apart from a documented fact.
- Suggested discovery questions and objection-handling wording, offered when the moment calls for them rather than at every pause
- Coaching suggestions and factual answers are separate preferences: turn coaching off and keep the facts, or keep both
- Company context, written once in Settings, keeps suggestions in your positioning and tone
Post-call summaries and follow-up drafts
When you stop the session the transcript lands, and a few moments later the recap follows with key points, next steps and open questions. SalesGhost proposes a follow-up email, a CRM note when your CRM is connected and, when an answer landed well, a battle card so the whole team gets it next time.
- Skim the transcript for the moments you prepared cards for and whether the answer landed
- Send the drafted follow-up from your own inbox and, with your CRM connected, paste the CRM note
- Ask the transcript afterwards what was left unanswered
How it works, in three steps.
1. Set up
Install on Mac or Windows, add two or three documents, write battle cards for your predictable objections and describe your positioning in company context.
2. On the call
Join on Zoom, Meet, Teams or any app that plays audio through your computer and press start. Cards appear in the notch or pill, usually within a few seconds, and are hidden from screen share by default.
3. After
Press stop. A few moments later, read the recap, send the drafted follow-up from your own inbox, paste the CRM note if your CRM is connected and accept the battle card suggestions worth keeping.
Also worth knowing.
No bot in the meeting
SalesGhost hears the call through your computer audio. Nothing asks to be admitted and nothing appears in the participant list.
Hidden from screen share by default
The overlay is flagged as protected content and excluded from the share by default. Newer macOS capture APIs can weaken this. Turn visibility on in Settings, Preferences when you want it seen.
Within seconds
Suggestions usually arrive within a few seconds of the question, depending on transcript quality, retrieval depth and model latency. Adjust how long cards stay on screen in the overlay settings.
English first
English is the primary supported language today. macOS 14.2 and later, Windows 10 and later.
Questions about real-time sales coaching
How is real-time sales coaching different from call recording and conversation intelligence?
Timing and purpose. Post-call review tools work from the recording once the call is over. SalesGhost works during the call: when a stall or a pricing question lands, the suggestion is on screen while the buyer is still talking. Some products combine both, and many teams pair live guidance with the post-call review they already use.
Where do the coaching suggestions come from?
From two places. Answers about your product come from the material you give SalesGhost: battle cards, uploaded documents, scraped help docs and company context, and they show their source. Coaching technique, such as the question to ask next, can also come from the conversation itself and is shown without a source. Automatic cards never use the web. When you type a question, SalesGhost may look up public facts if your knowledge cannot answer, and those answers count as unverified. Meeting briefs may also research attendees and their company on the public web.
Can I turn coaching off and keep the factual answers?
Yes. Coaching suggestions and factual answers are separate preferences. Some experienced reps keep only the facts; new reps often keep both.
Does SalesGhost join the meeting as a bot?
No. It is a desktop app that captures your computer audio, so there is nothing to invite and nothing in the participant list. It works with Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Slack Huddles and diallers.
How fast are the suggestions?
Usually within a few seconds of the moment, depending on transcript quality, retrieval depth and model latency. Cards are designed to be read in a glance, and everything remains in the transcript afterwards.
Which languages are supported?
English is the primary supported language today.
