Real-time sales coaching software for sales leaders

SalesGhost puts your playbook on every rep’s screen during B2B sales calls. On discovery calls and product demos it answers product questions from the documents you approved, with the source shown, and coaches reps through objections and competitor mentions using your battle cards, or suggests the next question from the conversation itself.

Free plan, no card. macOS and Windows.

How SalesGhost provides real-time sales guidance

Answers from your documents during live calls

SalesGhost hears each rep’s live calls through the computer audio and recognises when a buyer asks a question. Product, pricing and security questions are answered from the documents you approved, and each answer shows the file it came from, so a new rep and your best rep work from the same material.

  • Upload the pricing sheet, security overview and positioning documents once at organization scope and every current member answers from them
  • Answers appear in the macOS notch or the Windows pill, usually within a few seconds, and collapse after a few seconds by default so they read as recall rather than a script
  • Automatic cards never use the web; a typed question is answered from your knowledge first and may look up public facts only when it cannot answer

“We need to think about it and come back to you.”

Real-time objection handling and competitive battle cards

A battle card pairs the objection or competitor you expect with the response you want reps to give. Cards are created in Settings, usually by an admin or sales leader, and shared cards reach every seat. When the moment comes up on a call, SalesGhost can draw on the card to suggest a response in line with what you approved.

  • The best cards fit on one screen: two or three counterpoints, one proof point and a question that redirects
  • A pricing pushback, a rival named and a stall are the usual first three cards; add more as real calls show what comes up
  • Cards are yours to maintain: rewrite the ones that fizzle and retire the ones that never come up

Live coaching prompts and suggested next questions

For the moments no card covers, SalesGhost coaches from the conversation itself: a new constraint the buyer mentions, an objection left unresolved, a discovery call that has stopped uncovering anything. It suggests a next move or a question to ask, shown without a source so the rep knows it is technique rather than a documented fact.

  • Useful for new reps in discovery, where the next question is harder than the product facts
  • Each rep can turn coaching and factual answers on or off independently, so a senior rep can keep only the facts
  • Company context describes who you sell to and how you position, so coaching stays in your positioning

Rep onboarding with shared knowledge

Invite people from Settings, Workspace. Admins own the shared setup and manage seats from the team billing page; members run calls, see their own calls and can add knowledge. Because organization sources exist before the invite, the new rep’s checklist is short.

  • Install the app, grant the two audio permissions, connect a calendar, take a call
  • Pricing, security and positioning answers come from the same documents on day one
  • Organization knowledge is available only to current members of the team

Post-call summaries and battle card suggestions

Every call produces a transcript and, a few moments after you stop, a recap with key points, next steps and open questions. Alongside them SalesGhost suggests actions, including new battle cards from objections that were handled well and facts worth adding to knowledge.

  • Turn an answer that landed into a proposed battle card for the whole team
  • Save what a prospect told you so the answer exists on the next call
  • Read the transcript for the moments you wrote cards for and whether the answer landed

Also worth knowing.

  • Works with your call stack

Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Slack Huddles and diallers such as Aircall or Dialpad: anything that plays call audio through the computer.

  • Private to the rep

No bot joins the meeting and the overlay is excluded from screen share by default. Newer macOS capture APIs can weaken that, so test it with a colleague if it matters.

  • Seats you control

Admins invite and remove people from Settings, Workspace and change seats from the team billing page. Billing follows the seat count.

  • Sources on document-backed answers

Answers backed by your documents show the document they came from. Coaching drawn from the conversation itself is shown without a source, so reps can tell the two apart.

Questions sales leaders ask

Does SalesGhost score reps or forecast deals?

No. SalesGhost is live call guidance plus post-call recaps, not a conversation intelligence dashboard. It does not rank reps, score calls or produce forecasts. Its job is to make the right answer available during the call and to write up what happened afterwards.

Who can create battle cards and shared knowledge?

Battle cards and knowledge sources are managed in Settings. Admins own the organization-level setup that everyone shares; members can add knowledge too. On most teams a sales leader or admin writes the cards, because their value is that the response is the agreed one.

Will reps sound like they are reading?

Cards are designed to be read in a glance, not aloud. They fit on one screen, collapse after a few seconds by default and are meant as recall: the rep takes the number or the argument and says it in their own words.

How do I keep the guidance current?

Replace documents when pricing or terms change, re-run the website scrape after big releases, and retire cards that stop working. Two sources that disagree make answers hedge, so removing the stale one matters more than adding another.

What happens when someone leaves the team?

Remove them from Settings, Workspace. Their seat is freed for a replacement, and organization knowledge is available only to current members.

Coach the call, not the recording.

Start free with your own knowledge, then invite the team when the cards are ready.
