Terms of Service
These terms form a binding agreement between you and SalesGhost. By using our service, you agree to be bound by them.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, downloading our applications, or otherwise using SalesGhost, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
If you do not agree, you must not access or use the service.
2. Description of Service
SalesGhost is an AI-powered sales intelligence platform providing real-time coaching, call transcription, knowledge base management, and productivity tools for sales professionals. The service includes:
- Web Application — Dashboard for account management, knowledge base, integrations, and call history
- Desktop Application — macOS app for system audio capture and real-time AI assistance
- AI Features — Transcription, coaching suggestions, meeting recaps, scorecard grading, and intelligent search
- Integrations — Connections to Google Calendar, CRM systems, and collaboration tools
We continuously improve the service. Features may be added, modified, or removed at our discretion with reasonable notice for significant changes.
3. User Accounts
To use most features, you must create an account with accurate information and keep it updated. You may not impersonate others or use someone else's account.
You are responsible for maintaining account security and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately at support@salesghost.app if you suspect unauthorized access.
The service is for business use by individuals at least 18 years old.
4. Subscriptions & Payments
SalesGhost offers free and paid subscription plans with specific usage limits. Exceeding limits may restrict certain features until the next billing period or until you upgrade.
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance monthly or annually. Fees exclude applicable taxes. Payment is processed through Stripe, and you authorize charges to your payment method for all fees incurred.
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Cancel anytime through account settings—you retain access until the billing period ends.
Payments are generally non-refundable except where required by law. For billing errors, contact billing@salesghost.app within 30 days.
We may change prices at any time. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing period following notice.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Record or transcribe calls without obtaining all required participant consents
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Upload content that infringes intellectual property or proprietary rights
- Transmit viruses, malware, or malicious code
- Attempt unauthorized access through hacking or other means
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the service
- Resell or redistribute the service without permission
- Circumvent usage limits, security measures, or access controls
We may remove content, suspend accounts, and report violations to law enforcement.
6. Intellectual Property
The service and all its contents—software, designs, text, graphics, logos—are owned by SalesGhost or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service for internal business purposes. This license does not include rights to modify, copy, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the service.
Feedback you provide may be used by us without obligation to compensate you.
7. User Content
You retain ownership of content you upload—recordings, transcripts, documents. You grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your content solely to provide and improve the service.
You are responsible for your content and must have the necessary rights to share it. We may remove content that violates these terms or applicable laws.
8. Third-Party Services
The service integrates with third-party services like Google Calendar and CRM systems. These are governed by their own terms and privacy policies—we are not responsible for their content or practices.
When you connect third-party services, you authorize us to access their data as described in our Privacy Policy. Disconnect anytime through account settings.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
AI-generated content is for informational purposes only—not legal, financial, or professional advice. Transcription may not be 100% accurate. Verify important information independently.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SalesGhost shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
Our total liability for all claims shall not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100 USD.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend and hold harmless SalesGhost from claims arising from your violation of these terms, your content, your failure to obtain required consents, or your violation of third-party rights.
12. Termination
You may terminate your account anytime through settings or by contacting support@salesghost.app.
We may suspend or terminate access immediately for breach of these terms. Upon termination, your license ends and we may delete your account and content.
13. Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated before taking effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, stop using the service.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts.
Before formal legal action, contact us to attempt informal resolution. We will try to resolve disputes within 30 days.
